Aerodynamik und geringes Gewicht allein entscheiden keine Rennen – an der Ziellinie kommt es auf die Geschwindigkeit an. Um auf Race-Speed zu kommen, ist eine ganz bestimmte Balance aus Aerodynamik, Leichtigkeit, Steifigkeit und Nachgiebigkeit nötig. Unser Ride Science Team hat durch Rennsimulationen anhand realer Daten herausgefunden, dass das Tarmac SL8 auf den entscheidenden Strecken das schnellste Rennrad ist, das je gebaut wurde. Ganze 16,6 Sekunden schneller auf 40 km, 128 Sekunden schneller bei Milano–Sanremo und 20 Sekunden schneller auf den Tourmalet.
- Aero in everything: Aero sind bei uns die Oberflächen, die wirklich zählen, nicht die, an denen es am besten aussieht. Mit dieser Philosophie haben wir unser aerodynamischstes Rennrad aller Zeiten geschaffen. Und ja, es ist aerodynamischer als das Venge. Das neu designte Steuerrohr des Tarmac SL8 hält den Luftstrom besser aufrecht, denn die Oberfläche an der Vorderseite läuft spitzer zu. Wir nennen es den Speed Sniffer und mit ihm erzeugt der stromlinienförmigere Querschnitt des Steuerrohrs viel weniger Luftwiderstand. Darüber hinaus haben wir im Einklang mit den neuen UCI-Regeln für das Tarmac SL8 die schmalste und aerodynamischste Specialized Sattelstütze aller Zeiten entwickelt. - Minimales Gewicht, maximal aero: Das Tarmac SL8 nutzt die Erkenntnisse aus der Entwicklung des Aethos und erreicht problemlos die UCI-Gewichtsgrenze, und das mit einem vollständigen Aero-Setup. Unser Team hat einen unglaublichen Rahmen mit 685 Gramm entwickelt – 15% leichter als das Tarmac SL7 und leichter als alle anderen Bikes der World Tour.* Die neuen technischen Möglichkeiten befähigten uns, beim Tarmac das Gewicht des Unterrohrs, Sitzrohrs und Hecks zu optimieren, denn die neue Form des Rahmens verteilt die Last so effizient, dass zusätzliche Carbonschichten für mehr Steifigkeit nicht mehr nötig sind.
- Geht höllisch nach vorn, fährt sich himmlisch: Dank der enormen Verbesserung des Verhältnisses von Steifigkeit zu Gewicht – um erstaunliche 33% – hebt das Tarmac SL8 das legendäre Handling, das aggressive Ansprechverhalten und die auf der World Tour erprobte Geometrie auf ein neues Level. Das Bike ist steifer am Tretlager, präziser am Lenker sowie nachgiebiger im Sattel und setzt damit neue Maßstäbe für die Performance und den Komfort von Rennrädern. Unser Konzept Rider-First Engineering™ stellt sicher, dass jeder Rider unabhängig von seiner Größe die gleiche Fahrqualität und Handling genießt. Comfortable and Great for Water Activities

I L-O-V-E these!!!!

UPDATE: I've tried several difference sellers/brands and keep coming back to these Seekway shoes. I think the key is for me that they are one-piece like water socks with ties rather than having separate tongues. Some other brands, the tongues are long and rub against your foot. These also have a very thin heel cup unlike others that were fine for short term, but on long walks, the thicker heeled ones rubbed nasty blisters in both heels. These Seekway DID NOT. The only down side is that the soles are very thin, so even with orthotics (Happy Step memory foam), when walking for several miles, I did find the balls of my feet sore. But in time, they've actually "toughened up" and now I walk about 3 miles per night in these shoes without any issue. Just bought my third pair!
These shoes are soooooo comfortable with great tread and very breathable. I LOVE these! The price is very reasonable while quality is good. I have one foot that is slightly narrower, especially in the heel, than the other. After a bit of experimenting with the elastic ties, they fit great. True to size. And they look up-scale... unlike some old beach shoes I have from a few years ago. I actually forgot I had shoes on, that's how comfy they are. These are not for support, but that's not their purpose. If you like walking around barefoot yet want protection from injury or stepping on something icky, these are perfect. I also hear some podiatrists are praising barefoot-style shoes as good for building muscles in the foot and legs. Total win!

Good fit and comfort.

These fit well and are easy to wear in the water. They drain and dry quickly so you can move from wet to dry without having to change shoes. They kept my feet reasonably warm on a chilly day in the river. However the grip on the soles could be a bit better; they got pretty slippery when walking on rocks. They also don't offer much protection if you happen to step on something sharp. They're good if you need something versatile but I wouldn't recommend for serious river work.

Perfect water shoes! The material is thin, but they dry very fast, which was exactly what I needed. I’m usually a size 6.5 and sized down half a size, and the fit was perfect. I used them for swimming and walking in cenotes in Mexico for about two and a half hours, and they were comfortable the entire time. Great grip and very practical!
